First post

Well this is my first post and to be honest I've never used a blog before. You hear all these things about how people spend their lives blogging away about this and that. Then their wives get so annoyed with all of this that they secretly have an affair with the man from the Gillette advert who for some reason happens to live next door. I hope that doesn't happen to me.

Now I'd just like to explain this blog a bit. I'm a bit of a nature geek so most of the topics will be animal related, but at the same time I'm a bit of an obsessive control freak so everything will probably explained in far too much detail.

Now, this is the point when my english teacher would say, I need to get the audience hooked. I need to build up the tension so that they will come back and read my next post and if that is up to standard, maybe even a third. I'm not expecting anyone to read anymore than three because I'll probably have bored you all to death by then, and I myself might have even got exceptionally bored too and perhaps given everything up, school, the metric system and headed for a life of piece and tranquility in gibraltar...

Then again... I think we'll have fun blogging away...
